In Flatsome's UX Builder, the standard way to display a post's title is by using the "Page Header" element, which automatically pulls the current post's or page's title. Alternatively, you can use the standard WordPress function
get_the_title() if you are building a custom template with PHP. Using the UX Builder
For most use cases within the UX Builder interface, you will use the built-in elements:
- Open the Post with UX Builder: Navigate to your WordPress dashboard, go to Posts (or Pages), select the item you want to edit, and click "Edit with UX Builder".
- Add the "Page Header" Element: In the UX Builder sidebar, click the "+" icon to add a new element. Search for "Page Header" and add it to your layout.
- Automatic Title: This element is designed to automatically use the current page or post's title. You don't need to manually enter the title.
- Customization: You can customize its appearance (height, background, text color, alignment) using the options in the left-hand panel. There is an option to set a custom title if you wish to override the default post title, but by default, it displays the correct post title.
- Alternative: Text Element: If you need the title within the main content area (not in a banner/header), you can add a "Text" element and manually type the title or use a shortcode/dynamic content option if available in your specific Flatsome version.
